The Sourdough starter will adapt itself to its new climate and environment. To build up your starter, follow the instructions that come with it and keep it at room temperature for the first few days.

Sourdough starter is a living organism and it needs regular feeding. Recommendation is no more than 14 days elapse between the day it was fed and delivered, and when you give it its first feeding.
For best results, please feed your fresh sourdough starter within 24 hours of receiving it.
